Lisa Wildfeuer Jones Biography Lisa Wildfeuer Jones was born in Los Angeles, California to a writer/artist mother and a mathematician father. She began drawing and painting at a very early age, and people were amazed at the artistic talent from someone so young. During her first semester in college, she majored in Math until an epiphany took place during a summer trip to Florence, Italy. During this trip, she discovered the works of art by the great masters. Overwhelmed by the power stemming from the beauty of art, she realized painting was her passion, and this will become her life's work. After this visit, she began her art studies and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting at the California State University at Long Beach. After graduation, she painted full-time for a year, but got sidetracked into the corporate world. This only lasted a couple of years when she returned to Italy for another visit, which rekindled and rediscovered her passion. From that time, she has painted and sold works through word of mouth and various exhibits. Her subjects include still lifes and landscapes, as well as portrait. She is known for her energy and spontaneity and her use of vibrant colors.
